USV Development
Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) form the heart of our company’s operations. Over the years, we’ve designed and developed two distinct USVs: the Techno Hunter X1, Techno Hunter X2. Both of them were designed and developed specifically to integrate them with NORBIT Subsea multi beam echo sounders. These vehicles have been deployed in a range of missions, including critical tasks such as measuring Glacier conditions in the challenging environment of Svalbard.

An Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) is an autonomous or remotely operated watercraft that navigates the surface of the water without a human crew onboard. These robotic vessels are designed to perform a wide array of tasks, from data collection and environmental monitoring to search and rescue operations, all while being controlled from a remote location. USVs are equipped with advanced sensors, communication systems, and propulsion methods, making them invaluable tools for a myriad of maritime applications.

Our Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) offer remarkable versatility, finding utility in a spectrum of environments, spanning from vast open sea expanses to controlled indoor settings. It’s essential to recognize that the specifications and configurations of these USVs can differ significantly to cater to the specific demands of each distinct application. That is why we start with deep conversation, followed by prototypes, tests etc. and only when everything is in order we start to craft a final tool.
